I currently run my pressurized Co2 system on a time switch. I have it come on about an hour before my lights and go off shortly after my lights. I have a drop checker to measure the Co2 content, and all is OK during the day when I look at it. However I have recently changed my 450 liter tank from heavily planted to relatively light planting. As such I can assume that the levels of Co2 expelled by the plants in the night are relatively low(I don't check my drop checker at 3am

).

Here's the thing, my fish like a pH of 6-6.5 and I can easily achieve this with the Co2, but I wonder if I might be getting spikes at night. So I was thinking about buying a pH controller to run my Co2 injection, and wonder if anyone uses one, and feels that they are worthwhile?

Thanks.

Leave the overly complicated messing about to the marine keepers. :good:
