Western Australia's petrol just became the most expensive in the country. We are now paying an average of $2.00 per litre for regular unleaded petrol (91 ron). $8 a gallon for you lot that can't work out litres :)

What a fuplie ripoff.

We sell our good oil overseas and buy in a lower grade oil to turn into fuel. Because of factors overseas, the price of crude oil is going up, and the Australian dollar is going down, so we now pay way too much to buy in crap oil instead of using our own oil.

Just another expense for poor people to try and deal with.

What's the price of fuel where you are?

Around € 2,00 per litre so $ 3,16 australian dollars. Think we are one of the most expensive ones (mainly due to taxes)

$1.56 a litre yesterday, in Quebec, Canada.

I just paid $2.89/USG in Southeast Texas...living near many petro refineries helps

in GBP £1.49 for me (petrol) - £1.50 Diesel.
And of that £1.49 per litre, £0.58 is fuel tax. Then there's VAT (value added tax) at 20% in there as well, same as most things we buy.

That's equivalent to £5.64 per US gallon, including fuel tax of £2.19.

Here in the Vancouver region of BC in Canada, we have been paying roughly the same for gasoline for two or three years. Australian 2 dollars is at today's exchange rate Canadian $1.79, and the gas price yesterday was $1.73 or maybe $1.75 per liter.

$3.23 per USG in southern New Hampshire.

That brings back memories of the "good old days" of cheaper gas prices...1 USG is 3.8 liters, so you are paying no more than 85 cents a liter. :yahoo:
