I have a 55 gallon tank and i'm getting a school of 6 of them, I do realize this will not last their entire lives, but I will upgrade later. ATM i have a LED or a florescent bulb, would like which one would be better, I would like low light plants or driftwood for the EN but not sure about water clarity. EN like good clarity so does that mean to use carbon a lot? I have 8 pieces of PVC pipe 2" in diameter as well. I have a play sand bottom about a inch deep for my tire track eel and am going to get snails to help turn up the sand. I have a large castle in the middle as well. I have a aqua clear sponge filter and is wondering if this alone is suitable? I would love for anyone to answer as many questions as possible, I want to give my EN school the best home possible, not t worried about feeding because it will just be the EN fish and a tire track eel but I will make sure they are all eating.
