Ok so with a bag of cornish pebbles from homebase (£7) and some silicone aquarium I made me a cave. I think it looks pretty good, but would love your comments. You could see the silicone joining the rocks together so I stuck 3mm gravel into the silicone to cover it. Pretty sturdy and quite natural looking. I also siliconed in a couple of plants too.

Not so bad I thought. Got loads of silicone and pebbles left to so I could make more if i needed. Also some of my fish came out to pose so here's a couple.

Thanks. Took a couple ofdays as i had to let one layer dry before putting anything on top of it but i like it

That is one of the most coolest things ever. You're very creative!! So natural looking :) How big is your tank, by the way?

Great diy! I wouldn't mind trying something like that myself. Your fish are gorge, especially the ram  The colours are amazing! And the plecs cute too.

Im gonna do something like that! very nice, one thing I am gonna try to do tho is make it so no sillicone can be seen .

LIke it :good:

Oh, that is awesome! I want one! Love your fish, esp the blue ram, wow! :good:

Thanks everyone.

Tanks a 30 US gallons

Not sureabout the java moss as I like seeing the rocks

Very nice, but I think it would look miles better if you siliconed gravel all over it!

Neal

gravel all over?? it'll look like it had been pebble dashed!!!

I think it's pretty cool, looks a little un natural now but give it a month or so to get a little bit of algae on it and it'll blend in laods better. :D
