Hi!! I recently got a new pea puffer, Moose, about 4 days ago and i woke up to turn on his light and he was laying on a leaf not moving and didnt move for a while after turning on the light. He is also looking a little bit more pale than usual. He is in a 10 gallon all by himself and its heavily planted and cycled. Was he just sleeping or could it be something else?

Fish do sleep - or a least go into a sort of stupor - and they often change colour when asleep.

If you turned the tank light on when the room was in darkness, you will stress the fish. The room light should be on or the room in daylight for at least half an hour before the tank light turns on, and the room light should be on or in daylight for at least half an hour after the tank light turns off. There periods are to give the fish fish a 'dawn' and 'dusk' rather than switch straight from bright light to darkness and vice versa.
The tank lights should also be on for the same length of time, at the same time every day. The simplest way to do this is by using a timer.

check your water quality for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and pH.
if it's a newly set up tank, it could have an issue with one of these.

Also whats your GH. Pea puffer do better in medium to hard water GH and not so well in soft water. Also whats the temp, pea puffers like it on the warmer side for tropical temp.
