My parrot fish has white silvery patches on his gills and face, he seems fine and eats well, I was wondering if it was some type of scale damage or ulcer and how I would treat it? thanks

That looks like his normal coloration to me. The scales do not look damaged.

Parrots go through some color changes in their life and he may be between one of those.

They are brownish as juveniles, then become whitish or pink and then eventually red. Sometimes they have multiple colors.... like yours.

Check the water quality for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate & pH.

Do a 75% water change and gravel clean the substrate each day for a week.

Monitor the fish and if it gets worse, post more pictures and the results from your water tests.
