It goes back to that old saying. Do you believe in Ghosts? :look:

Either you do, OR you don't. OR maybe you're some-where in-between

Me. Myself..I love the Paranormal. I've travelled yards apart from each end of the country and N. Ireland, as well.

I have taken part in over-night investigations for the last 9 years, venturing from Manor houses to Ships/Castles and so on. If there was one place that I would do an, over-night vigil at! It would be Alcatraz. For it's boisterous and remorseless history, and inaudible surroundings..It would be nobody else, but my own wits and the equipment that I would need to capture either sound/vision, and of course a torch/flashlight to see my way ahead!

I always imagined it to be a mild evening, a dense fog just barely touching the top of the waters, surface. Now waiting for that boat to cross over those rockety waves. Those very same waves that have carried over many a person to his final lock & key. Now being it my time to see if there is really truth out there! Being it a tugboat for my hopefully return ticket, back to mainland and civilization, as we know it.

(Okay..you're getting carried away now) lol

Just like anything when you're travelling to a destination of your choosing. Images, along with a voice appear into your head. Being it due to excitement. Maybe you get anxious? Either way. You just can't wait to get there! And because of that, it's always important to keep a clear head on your shoulders. Me? I have so many places that I haven't been too as yet..but I would love too.

How about you guys?
Do you believe in the Paranormal? If so..Have you ever experienced anything  or even better, captured any pics or sound recordings yourself?

Just one more thing!

This photo was snapped up just over 12 months ago, in my own livingroom at around 3:30am. It was left unattended and running for 4 hours, rotating slowly from left to right.
Now when I say unattended I was the only person in the house, at that time.. I was in bed. Within the next three days of analyzing, I came across this image of a figure. Now just before I go on with this. This photo has been looked at by 3 different professional photographers, and all three said the same. It is real.
There seems to be a figure of a manly stance with his arm behind his back, looking down. The figure has been purposely circled out and enhanced

I am interested in the paranormal and one place I would have loved to do the night time ghost tour was Port Arther in Tasmania, that is one place that has really known sorrow. I haven't actaully seen a ghost but I have felt the ghost of my deceased cat jump up on the bed and walk across the covers, I have also heard her bell tinkling as she walked through the house. Oh and my Grandfather after he died came for a visit, when he was alive he had had a stroke and couldn't turn the taps off all the way in the bathroom. So my mum and I would go in after him and turn the taps off propperly. Any way a few months after he had died Mum and I noticed the taps kept being left on in the bathroom and we both went mad at the other one for leaving the taps running. I soon realised it must have been Grandps visiting like he had planned to and said "Ok Grandpa we know your here, can you please leave the taps alone", after that the taps didn't get left on any more.

I was also taking photos of some of the joeys I was hand raising and when I got the pictures developed there where orbs in some of the pictures, the joey's didn't seem phased by anything unusual at the time of the pictures so I can only assume the orbs where benign or friendly towards the joey's.

It does interest me, but it's not something I would ever get into.

I love it, we have strange things in our house happen. We have one light switch in our hallway and two lights and one randomly goes on and off by itself and it will go off for like months at a time and then back on for months. It only does it when me and the missus are in the room next to it aswell.

When I was young just after my grandma died I saw a figure of someone crouched on the bottom of my bed with their head in their hands. Woke in the middle of the night after what felt like my mum pulling the quilt over me to find that and it just made me feel calm and I went back to sleep.

Another occasion was in our old Victorian house when I put a glass in the sink which was dry and it moved to cover the plug hole, I moved it back, said out loud "do that again" and it did which made me s**t myself lol.

Last but not least, Greenwich University, Dreadnaught building. It used to be an old hospital centuries ago with a tunnel into Greenwich Park so the dead could be moved from the mortury without the public seeing the volume of dead soldiers (which was a lot in those days). Anyway we were maintaining the alarm and while down in the old tunnels and mortury which has no electricity and old wooden doors with things like splints still painted on them when me and my apprentice heard what sounded like someone being killed, then a door slamming then silence, we ran!!! Never been so scared, oh and incase someone thinks the light on our hall is a loose connection it's not I'm an electrical engineer.

The thing that baffles me is that 'paranormal activity' always happens to people who believe in the whole thing.

You are right! If a person doesn't "believe" in something, it could pretty much come up and give them a kick in the pants and they still wouldn't believe. I find that the most amazing things happen to the people who can accept the possibility of anything happening. I think open -mindedness for the paranormal and other mysteries of the world is wonderful and can lead to many exciting things! Personally, I believe in it but I have never seen a ghost or anything...so disappointing, lol!

When I was a kid I didn't believe in it till I saw something, my apprentice didn't either till that moment.

This is why I don't believe in it, the whole "genre" of Paranormal is a bunch of people making out things that are just not there. That's not to say that dead people don't leave behind some sort of Energy/Presence, I watched a fake-Paranormal type mockumentary on an Island in Italy called Poveglia, the Island itself looked pretty spooky, and you could see real sadness there, but the people who went and "investigated" this Island were a bunch of idiots and ruined any "Paranormal" feel it had, I think many times Paranormal Fanatics are their own worse enemy when trying to convince sceptics.

I read a lot about paranormal, stories, real stories, and I love paranormal movies
but I don't wish to live a paranormal story...

it's frightening world!
