are paradise fish and bolivian rams compatible to be in the same tank? its about 95 litres, with plenty of plants, and if not, which other fish could i put with bolivian rams? I would like to have a pair if possible, as i have heard that they are happiest this way
thankyou!

I wouldn't do this. Although the 2 species may be fine together (a bit cramped), they have different temperature requirements so it wouldn't work. Why not go for a pair of Dwarf Gouramis instead?

Bolivian Rams are gorgeous, I would recommend Dwarf gouramis however I have a pair of males in a 125l tank. They get on well nearly all the time and have about 40% of the tank each with the remaining 20% in the centre where it is more of a whoever is sitting there at the time has ownership. AFAIK females are less attractive to look at but I'm not entirely sure what the best combinations would be.

You could always attempt a pair of Bolivians or other rams though 95 litre may be getting a bit small for a pair if they don't get on well.

I used to often have females with my male Dwarf Gouramis, either a single or pair per male. I've always felt having them together enhances the beauty of both, even though that beauty is quite different. Of course, space is an issue and it sounds like you've got the perfect situation there Josh, so I'd probably be reluctant to upset that unless you really wanted to. Having both sexes also certainly carries the potential of having a good deal more variation in male behavior, not only within the territory of one set but with regard to another paired set and to other tankmates.
