Pale Fish

hi, when i had a betta in my tank (it was removed after a day), some of my other fish went extremely pale. now the betta has gone they arae all back to normal colour. did the fish fade because they were scared?
im not too worried now because they are back to normal but i didnt think fish could do that, especially when some colours are vibrant.

Fish loose colour when they are stressed.

So this could have been down to the betta.

Going pale is a sign of stress, if is colour have come back he should be fine now.
