Packaging?

Any ideas on how long i could keep java moss in its packaging when it arrives?
Or does this plant need immediate changing?

If it is sent well packaged (air tight) and pretty wet, then it will survive for a fair bit. It recovers quite well too.

How long are you thinking?

As long as you keep it moist and thin it out so it's not too compact, it looks like you can keep it for ages as long as it gets light and doesn't dry out.
I've been experimenting with growing moss 'emersed', just making sure that there is enough moisture, and till now the results are quite encouraging. Just not good enough yet to give up the day job and be a full-time moss farmer
