I thought that it was 1 inch of space per gallon? Wouldn't 6 more corys add like 12 inches to my total??
And I wouldn't even know where to start with shrimp, like what they eat, what temp they neeed, ph, environment, etc.
The one inch per gallon rule is pretty unreliable IMO. Its better if you post your stocking lists here and we will advise you on whether you're overstocked or not, if your fish are suitable and compatible with eachother and in your tank...
If you want to know some more about shrimp, thenyou can either post a topic on the forum including your questions or you can google them up
Yes indeed the 6 cories at the size of a panda would indeed add 12 inches of fish to the tank. By my own calculations you have about a 20 inch to 25 inch stocking level. The size fish you are dealing with are the only size where an inch per gallon guidance works out fairly well so it definitely will help you judge your stocking levels. If you add no more than 5 or 6 cories and are willing to do larger or more frequent water changes than you have been, you should do fine with that stocking.
