Real good looking tank bud, that about 6x2x2f ?

I ask as those flatpack cabinets never look like they have much to them, then again they do the job and look pretty.

I've just built a stand for my new 6ft tank, think I could probably sit a car on it :D

its 6ft 6 inches long, 2ft 3 inches tall and 2ft wide, bloody heavy, gotta have a good stand for them, you must post a pic of yours!

Lovely tank lasawyer

I think the stand looks fine, a damn sight better than the crappy black ash effect ones on my two 30g's

I'm building my own for my 56g at the moment and both me and my girlfriend stood on it and jumped around to test it :D

(Yes, it did hold :p )

wOw..nice tank! I wish I could get my aunt one like that haha. My aunt HAD a betta a long time ago in a blender..haha...she just cleaned it real good and took out the blades and cut the cord. She used to keep her betta in there untill one day it died. Yea it sucks..but it was pretty creative. Plus there was like a little measure on the side and she pretty much knew how much of a water change. hah

That is a seriously nice set up.

would love to have something like that, but it wont fit in my current house.

the plan is to get a 6ft tank when i move (hopefully by the end of next year) then convert the 30" tank i am getting this weekend to a marine set up.

I've posted the same pic in this forum with the heading 140 Gallon Tank (take a look in there), the tank set us back quite alot, but it was well worth it!!!

My other half Ross (he's the one that started my love for tropical fish) is going to redesign the lay out of the tank today, adding more Bogwood and slate.

Thats why we choose this one, we had one like it before (a smaller one) Rena make some fantastic stands and tanks, not old fartty like some of them, very modern and light in colour.
