Oscars

Alright. Well I've decided to go shopping for some more fish for my 75. Right now i have the green terror, red devil, a female convict, common plec., and a blue channel cat. I'm probably going to be taking the convict to the fish store. I was thinking about getting a couple more convicts and maybe having two pairs, but beacuse my devil has started chasing the female around, and after the death of my male, I've decided that they might not work. My question is, can i put an oscar in the tank with these other fish? And, how big would the oscar have to be for the terror ( 81/2 inches) and devil ( 61/2 inches) to not really mess with him. I've always wanted an oscar since i got my first aquarium when i was twelve, but i had inadaquete space to keep one, and now i have this big empty tank since getting rid of the jack, and losing the convict. But, i didn't know if i could keep two big fish ( devil and oscar) in the tank, do i have enough room?

would not be a good idea. the red devil would terrorize the oscar. devils do live up to their name. you could either start a new tank for the devil or the oscar. good excuse to get another tank! tried an oscar and ended up giving him back to the lfs cause he turned into the devils punching bag.
