Oscar?

My nan bought me a fish im thinking its an oscar but looking it up the colouration doesnt seem right looking at other oscars...
hes only an inch if that in size...

im getting a 95gallon tank made for him if he is but till i know what he is im not sure what to do?

He/she is an oscar, wild caught by the look of the black and white colouration. Very nice .

lol i could start an auction and sell my nan sometimes.
she turns up with random fish never remembering what they are
normally i send them to the LFS but i liked this little man.
he looks goldish in person hes a cutey,

looks like ill be getting my new tank ordered then eh?

That is just a very juvi oscar, they obtain that colouration for a while, usually when you see them in shops they have already started the change, there is much more change and colouration to come, it could be a tiger which iam betting, but even then the colouration will change alot, great nan you got, send her my way, hehe, feed good quality pellets, go for green hilraki small pellets, chopped prawns,blood worm, deshelled pea's and flake,good waterchanges and filteration is a must, heating around 24-26c... yes get the biggest tank possible and enjoy..
