On a visit to my LFS saw my first orange rabbit snail and fell in love.
Purchased him and put him in my little cube tank to serve out quarantine time.
He ate his greens but hardly moved about.
Was a little worried about him.
Today quarantine ended and he was moved to my 300l tank.
Just sat there for the first hour.
Now he is exploring his new home. Has ventured to the waterline and then made his way back down.
Going to order a few more from my LFS.

Beware of temperature, they really need at least 28C to move around. But they can not move for few days at a time, when they are resting. They are also social creatures, so maybe having more of them in the future would not be bad, I have 5 of them and they tend to hang out together. They will eat anything

He's a cutie!

It's normal for snails to go semi-dormant for several hours when introduced to a new home. I don't worry about them unless they don't move for more than 24 hours...then I give them the sniff test.
