Been treating my fish with melafix for a week (last day tomorrow) and just noticed that it says on the bottle to 'shake well'. I forgot to do this, do you think that if I ask nicely my fish will all swim up and down very fast!!
I would think that the reason for the shaking is to get the stuff on the bottom of the bottle into the tank, not for the melafix in the tank to be swirled around.
Wouldn't think it matters too much if you didn't shake the bottle, though.
