Well, when I first got them he was little more solidly colored than the others. However, he's been getting more and more blue as time goes by. Now he's almost totally opaque. Anyone have any idea what this could be? I've read about various parasites having intermediate stages in shrimp that make the shrimp stand out so it will be eaten, but I'm not sure if this is like that.
I'm very sure that this is a ghost and not a Macrobrachium sp. as he has all of the marking of a normal ghost and the same shape, just that his flesh is changing color.
Here are some pics. As you can see, he really stands out from the others.
