Sorry, but 1st time ever for me - feel like a Dad ;)

:) Very Nice!

Two Blood Parrots are the parents, right? 98.9% chance that the eggs are infertile because the male blood parrot isn't fertile. :/

But now that you know who your female is, you can put her with a male Pink Convict and they will have fry. :) They will be called Jellybean Parrots.

The parents will probably eat these eggs in 3 days. :/

great encouragement ron. im leaning towards that 1.1% chance. good job and gl.

Oh... well I hope he IS fertile and you get some fry!!!!

BTW.. I thought *jellybean parrots* were died parrots ???

Whaat am I supposed to say? That he'll get fry? It's happened to me, I know Vip, and others on this forum that their Blood Parrots Layed eggs, and nothing happened. Look it up on the internet.

Amber, LFS use the word Jellybean Parrot to describe dyed Parrots because, well, I have no clue why. But they should really call them painted parrots. Jellybeans are a cross between a Blood Parrot and a Pink Con. Breeders bred these two fish because they found that they grow faster and are better to dye. So it's only sometimes that when the LFS lable a fish "Jellybean Parrot" they are a true cross between a Blood Parrot and Pink Con, But usually they are just a Dyed Blood Parrot. ;)

They look Very Proud to be Parents.

Thats because those dyed fish are jelly bean parrots. They are bred for albinism and then dyed. Not all jelly beans are dyed fish, but the ones you see for sale usually are.

I've never in my life seen a fertile male parrot fish. I have heard of others saying they've had one though. But chances are, the male you have is infertile.

ANYWAY!!!!! :S

Congrat's El Ess! Your fish and eggs are 'top shelf', proving that the fish are comfy enough to get jiggy because you take good care of your tank, and you should enjoy the moment! You should feel like a Dad. They couldn't have done it without you! (Well...ok...that may be stretching it,...but when you think about it..)
