my mts is getting bad , i've only just set up my second tank and now i've been given another,how could i turn it down?the thing is is has been in a loft for a while ,a bit grimmy. how is the best way to clean and sterilize, is their a disinfectant just for fish tanks? thanks pebbles

Just use a mild soap solution and rinse it very well after you have finished,as far as i know there is no special cleaning agent for tanks,just be careful what kind of cloth you use some may scratch the glass if they are abrasive.

vinigar or lemon can help with some of those water deposits

thanks for your replys , i'll have a go later, can't wait to get started, my second new tank setup got gazumped by a sailfin molly and her babies, so i was thrilled with this tank coming my way.babies are growing but still more to come i think, she is as fat as a porker pebbles any thoughts on whether i could put a angel in this tank , its six sided 16inches diameter and 16 inches high thanks pebbles
