I first kept Xiphophorus cortezi 30 years ago this species has a very short tail slightly curved upwards

I love them. Got them overhere as well.
 
I only got them once, and they were so old and in such starved out shape they wouldn't come around. Brilliant fish though. What I miss is my X. nezahualcoyotl. That's a great fish if you don't have to type about it.
 
yes a very pretty fish. many fish keepers don't see the true beauty in wild-type livebearers
Well, I'm a huge fan of wild livebearer species. Well, a lot of people don't understand us because they like more colorful fish more than wild colors. Although, there are wild livebearer species with bright colors as well.
What I miss is my X. nezahualcoyotl. That's a great fish if you don't have to type about it.
