Hi every1,

I always like to be different from the crowd, probably why I'm a Goth

Anyway, I'd like to have different things in my tank.

At present I have neon, black and glowlight tetras.
clown loaches
dwarf corys
indian glassfish
dwarf aquatic frogs
siamese fighting fish
water, plants, etc etc.

What else that is different would supplement my tank.

I like the red crabs but I have been informed that they are the Harry Houdini of the aquariums and also liable to eat my tetras.

How big do shrimps grow, and are they peaceful?
Apple snails - any comments with the exception of William :p ?
And any other unusual stuff with advice.

Thanks

hi there, see youve aquatic frogs i've 2 there great, probably seen my post
on blue fan shrimp, now these are realy cool, mines 4inchs not sure how
big they grow but are peaceful with fish mine lives with the fish, also
the spinney or fire track eels are different been trying to get one but can't find a store that stocks them,

Tyre Tracks get large and also can escape, (if large enough) they may attempt to eat the tetras and are very active at night as well - may spook sleeping fish!
How big is your tank? It sounds like you've got quite a few fish in there already, any room for a new tank setup? If so, you could go for the Eel option (they are great fish, real characters) and work around that... :)

ah william i was going to suggest apple snails yes i was :)

only joking William, but you are a touch biased towards apple snails are you not?

Anyway Gibbo - I haven't the space for a second tank, but my present tank is about 3 foot by 1.5
