Hi
I've been away for a week in chicago, when I got back I did a water change and noticed that there was a damsel fly stuck to my lamp plus a few dead dragon flies- I released the damsel flyand put him on the roof to either die or fly away.
When I woke up this morning I noticed a nymph swimming in the water (it looked similar to this http
/www.flyfishusa.com/flies/damsel-nymph.JPG) - I tried to get a picture but one of my rams attacked it but because it couldn't gobble it up it let it go and it got sucked up by my filter.
The worrying question right now is - will they hurt my fish? Do damsel flies lay eggs? Will there be more nymphs somewhere. If there are how do I get rid of them
It was creepy - I was and still am scared.
Has anyone else had this problem (ps I live in a loft/attic conversions and have huge windows that open - this is how they get in)
