I brought home two albino cory's today. After i put them in the tank i notices over 50% of the caudal fin on one of the cory's were all nipped off. WIll this effect the fish greatly, or will it cause disease outbreakes because its constantly stressed or what. Can anyone tell me what i can do or what i should know. Thanks!

Corys are very prone to bacterial infections, as the fish been nipped or its bacterial finrot, i would add a bacterial med to the tank, good luck.

You could add some melafix to the tank, if there's no sign of goo or cotton wool type fungus then I would avoid any drastic measures. The gouramis are going to be the culprits I bet, they are very nippy at the best of times. Keep an eye on them and see how they progress, for the moment I would just do 10-15% water changes daily if your worried.
