I got 2 male ADFs about a month ago. Yesterday, I started noticing one wasn't eating, developed a white dot, and was swimming very erratically. It turned out to be Chytrid fungus. I separated him and started anti-fungal treatment, but he passed away last night. How can I prevent my healthy ADF from getting sick too? I'm starting anti-fungus treatment on the tank and removed the carbon filter. How should I disinfect it?

Ah, I'm afraid no one here is a frog expert. That being said I'm sure @Colin_T can comment on treatments and disease.
Sorry about your frog.

Are you sure it's Chytrid fungus?

What are you using to treat it?
Most fish medications kill frogs?

If it is Chytrid fungus, I don't know of any cures. A zoo or somewhere that specialises in frogs (herpetologist) might be able to offer more help and information.

I'm pretty sure it's chytrid? Like I was saying, the froggy stopped eating, had a big white dot on his nose, had a torn-up shed, and was floating around the top of the tank trying to swim up and out of it. I'm using primafix and what I've read says it's safe for fragile aquatic frogs. After more research though, it seems like it doesn't do much. Is aquarium salt okay for ADFs? I also read about using lamisil spray?

salt isn't safe for frogs, they take in heaps of it thru their skin and it destroys their kidneys and kills them.

no idea what Lamisil is
