I have successfully on many occasions kept a Betta with some Goldies.

are you moving your goldie to a 100 gal alone? (that seems a bit large, to me, anyway.)

Male and Female bettas are NOT recommended to be kept together, although I have also co-habitated them successfully. The male will supposedly harass the female too much, cause her to stress, and die.

They are usually fine together depends how hot it is where you live

I have a male and female together no probs yet but she does seem to show dominance over the male lol she flares up and they will swim around the tank, but no nipping or nothing... but most of the time there side by side just chillin lol :D

Don't keep him with a goldfish they require very different water, mainly ther temp, and don't keep male and female/s together or you will have dead fish sooner or later.
