Hello to everyone, this is my first of many posts on this forum hopefully.

Ok i have a small'ish set up with some nice fish in there, my female fighter recently cought fin rot/ fungus rot. After using interpets cure i seemed to have banished the fungus from the female fighter.

Yesterday i noticed my Ghost Knife has now aquired this and i no longer have the dosage sheet as it has managed to end up in the trash

Does anybody have any idea how i can measure my tank volume for water and then maybe help me in knowing the right dosage, i can remember adding 5ml from the chart but i mean how many times should i add the medicine ?

Thanks in advance

Well, if you want to know the volume of water in your tank then you need to know the length, height and depth, then there are plenty of online calculators that will give you a volume from those measurements. As for dosage, I don't know.

How big is your smallish set-up? And how big your Ghost Knife now? Cause dude...that fish can/will get big, like...up to 2ft kind of big...and may eat any other fish that fit in it's mouth. :S You might want to reconsider this fish unless you have a 4ft tank...

Well the black ghost knife fish need a very large tank of about 150 to 200 gal, so i think i would rehome it, can you also post water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.

http://www.petfish.net/calculators/calculate.php is my favorite calculator/conversion tool. The volume is towards the bottom of the page. Posting the name of the med would help us tell you how much to add...

Also, since fish often get sick when their water quality is poor, what is the ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and pH readings from your tank?

The dosage should be on the bottle as well as the box.
