Are ferrets like big rats?

Do you have seperate cages for them, or do they all live in one? Are they like Dogs and cats, or are they more like rodents? Sorry, I don't know much about ferrets. Cute pics by the way. Love their faces, so cute!

This is their cage, but I tend to leave the bottom door open and set up a ramp so they can go in and out as they please and have the run of my bedroom

They're awsome pets, very curious and get into everything, but its a lot of fun

they are deffinitly fantastic fun! Ive got 7 boys. 5 together and 2 together and they are great to just watch, especailly when they start "dancing" and playing really cute to when theyve been naughty and know it- sort of an I didnt do it face lol

They're actually not rodents at all. They come from the same family as weasels, stoats, otters, skunks etc.
My boyfriend and I recently bought two. They are awesome pets
