New To Plants: Need Help.

I'm VERY new to plants. I have a spare 2.5 gallon (not with me at the moment). I thought that I could turn it into a little planted tank once I get it back. Is there a plant small enough to fit in a 2.5? I'm not going to keep anything else in it, just the plant. Do you reccomend me getting a plant? Is it hard to take care of an aquatic plant?

you could put any aquatic plant in though i would say put sand in the bottom and get a stone in the middle then tie a large anubias on but you need to give it light

Hmm...... maybe I DON'T want a plant after all...

Yeah, I think I'll just stick with taking care of a guinea pig, instead of piggy and plant.
