I just started my first planted tank, it has 3 shoots of bambo along with a few no name plants spread out and a large piece of drift wood. I dont have any soil but im told these plants can live without it. I have sand in there and not gravel, i also have a 5500k daylight, its in a 20g and im wounding
1) how do i tell if the plants are dead
2) do i need to gravel vac? (I ask cuz the poop would be good for the plants)
3) are there any fish (or shrimp or stuff)i can put in there that would be benefical to the plants
4) anything chemicals, materials, anything at all i can put in there that would be useful
5) also if you have any other knowledge you wouldnt mind sharing i would love to hear it.
