what do people think of the adding Valis(sp) idea? not o much just a spalsh of colour?

I actually love how the tank looks now and wouldn't change it but if you fancy the valis - give it a try. You can always take it out again.

I think valis would inject a nice shot of colour into the tank, and if it grows very tall it will offer some shade as well. Everything else looks amasing though. I love the decor.

There is a problem with links on the entire board at the moment that Will is looking into - I've fixed my link (which worked earlier) and OTP's with a bit of html. Hopefully they will stay valid now.

The Valis may well get eaten - you just never know with Mbuna. I still say try it if you want to.

Would probably look quite nice along the back behind the stones....but depends if you want to stay 'bio-type correct' or not.

2 other benefits would be adding cover for other fish once a pair forms and out-competing any algae.
