I just got 6 new shrimps, they're about 50-75% bigger than my ghost shrimps, bluish in coloration, some with markings. I'm told they might be the Taiwan pale blue shrimp, though I'm not sure.

Anyway, I just want to ask how to make the tank conditions optimal for shrimp breeding? One of the 6 has a bellyful of eggs, and I would like to try to keep the babies alive if possible. For that reason, I'm taking out the fishes in the tank. Do they need brackish water? Would the babies need a special diet like greenwater?

PS. Would snails be ok with baby shrimps, or do they need to be removed as well?
