Hi all,

Had a bit of fun today converting a little old tank into a new nano shrimp tank! Waiting for it to stabilise then I will add them.

Tropica Aquarium soil.
Plants trimmed from main tank.
Vallisneria on left.
Hygrophila polysperma back and right.
Salvinia Auriculata on top.

Drift wood from main tank.
Flint stones and Bamboo trimmings from garden, boile
Only decision now iswether to stick with reds and use a pair from main tank, or go blue, yellow, pair of amano etc!

That looks very nice! I love the natural sunlight.

Thanks! Just a cheap spotlight with a low wattage led bulb.
Hey, cheap stuff can do a lot of good. I have cheap desk clip light on my 29g and my 10g and they work perfectly, if not better than a fancy bar light!

Very true! I like the long bar light on my 16g but wanted a softer warmer colour for the shrimp.
