Hi there 👋 my friend brought me some Shrimp today, she keeps them room temperature, so i set up a tank, without a heater. Ive been keeping it the same temperature as her house which is around 70.
I did notice they are swimming around alot. But occasionally they stop to eat. Im just concerned. Its been two hours, they seem a little calmer.
I read something about an additive to calm down the shrimp. Is it too late for me to try that? Im on my way to the pet store now, and was thinking maybe i could purchase it if needed.
Thanks

I've never heard of such a thing and would never use it if it existed. An active, roaming shrimp that also eats is a healthy shrimp exploring its environment. Please don't try to "calm" them - just let them do their thing and settle in.
