I've just visites MA and bought some low level light plants but haven't a clue how to go about re-vamping my 55 gals.
I've bought cryptocoryne becketti,microsorium pteropus,anubias coffeefolia & cryptocoryne amicorum.

Now i know i can tie anubias onto bogwood, but unsure where to plant the others?? background, foreground etc...

They all come in little black mesh pots with weights,do i separate them out or leave them in?

In the past my corys have inadvertely dug plants up by rooting in the sand.

I've never had any joy with plants, full stop

Help please....

Thanks :)

Separate them out, Super glue the Microsorum and Anubias to wood and rocks, plant Cryptocoryne's in the substrate.

Gently take them out of the pots and remove as much of the spongy stuff on them as you safely can without ripping the roots. Trim back any dead roots or roots that are very long. Plant in substrate. You can put some small stones around the base of the plant after it's planted to prevent the cories from uprooting. I had to do that with my pygmy chain sword. After a few weeks remove the stones.
Here's a link to Youtube that shows you how to plant. Don't know if I'm pasting it right. If not, go to Youtube and it's called, "Tips and tricks for handling plants in the aquarium, Tropica Aquarium Plants"

Oh, am I allowed to post a link? Uh sorry if I wasn't supposed to.
