Hi all :)

I have just purchased a Fluval Roma 240 which should be delivered the end of this week!

I am wanting to plant the tank and dont know where to start with it! Ive had plants in other tanks now and again but nothing on this scale.

My tank will be a tropical tank with no CO2. The tank dimentions are: 120 x 40 x 55 cm
My substrate will be Dorset Natural Pea Gravel

Would love some suggestions for 'easy' plants that will look nice and neat, id like some different colours if possible.

Some background, foreground and carpet if possible, im on a little bit of a budget with the cost of the tank so any recommendations of good websites with plants would be appreciated!

Many Thanks :)

I also have 240 litre and Dorset Pea Gravel! Two plants, Anubias and Java Fern. Those two are difficult to kill, but I have now gone full CO2 with fire extinguisher and am hoping to get things growing now.

What is the tank like? Ive read some good reviews on it and getting quite exited. Im putting the tank in my dining room to make it more relaxing :)

Mine's the same size 240, but a different brand so I can't comment on the brand itself, but it's a good size!

I keep valisneria, Java fern, Java moss, anubias, and moneywort in my tank with little to no problems without any CO2.  The vals and moneywort produce little white flowers which I love. Hope it helps out and best of luck
