Hey! :D

I just did some maintenence and so I decided to take some pictures of my 3 biggest tanks to show you.

This is the 320l/5ft tank. I am really bad at getting photos of this tank, especially as the leaves of the tiger lotus and other plants bounces the light. Oh well, I am sure you will get the idea.

To see how my tank has developed, feel free to look at the link in my signature. But for this I will add one old photo to see what you think:

Ths was it on the 20th of June:

Heres a picture of one of my favourite fish, Stick the farlowella catfish.

So, what do you reckon? I like the way the tank is really dark in some areas but I don't suppose that comes across too well in photos. lol I also like the way the fish have lots of hiding places.

Here's my second biggest tank. It's a 225l cube.

This was it on the 27th of July:

I am not sure that it looks any better. It's been developing really well since I set it up but I don't think it looks much better this time round. I hope it's not going to tail off.

What do you think?

Finally, here's my 160l/4ft tank which has got the breeding kribs in it (Mr. K is just about holding on, looking better today *fingers crossed*).

This was it on the 18th of July:

As you can probably tell, I borrowed some of the vallis from the left of the tank to put in the 5ft one but I know that what's there will grow more. The leaves on the left vallis stretch about 3 foot along the top of the water! It looks great but doesn't show very well in photos, just bounces the light.

Here's a picture of the gorgeous Kentaro sitting on the leaves, not much of a bottom dweller, he lives on those plants!! You can just about see poor Mr K hiding there from Mrs K.

Awwww, isn't he gorgeous?!!

P.S. You can see details and more pics of my tanks from my signature and see my profile for a full list of the fish and in which tanks.

Thanks very much :D

I am not actually very 'good' with plants, I have low lighting and do not feed them. I think the plants I have must be easy to grow ones and I was just lucky because I don't realy do anything for tem other than rearrange and trim every now and again.

I am glad with how they are looking though, especially the 5ft.

Great tanks cheese. I wish my plants would grow like that with no added help!!! I've just set up a DIY CO2 system in my 2 planted tanks. I'll see how they go now!!

Hey hey!

I just got a few more pics that I wanted to share with you. :D

Here's Delilah, my other weather loach. They seem to really like sitting up in the plants there!! Strange creatures!!

And here's the best picture I have been able to get of Pierre, the pink kissing gourami. He sits and looks at me when I try to take a picture but moves just a little bit too much and it always ends up blurry.

Isn't he gorgeous though?

Finally, here's a picture that I got yesterday of Guenevere the only surviving albino krib fry of the ones that were born in May. It's a bit blurry but it's her first picture!!

Thanks for all your comment by the way. :D
