Hi All
This is my second attempt at setting up a Nano Freshwater Aquarium. The first was a general disaster thanks to lack of research!
I've spent quite a few months planning this one and wanted to share my set up with you all.
It's a 20 litre Nano tank, using remineralised RO water.
Hardscape: Black Lava Rock, Wood (not sure the type), Sand and Tropica Soil
Plants:
Cryptocoryne Wendtii (Green) front left
Cryptocoryne Undulatus front middle
Sagittaria Sublata front/side right
Rotala Rotundifolia back left
Bacopa Caroliniana back middle, centre
Spiky Moss
Anubias Petite
Amazonian Frogbit
Tank has been set up for just over a week with:
50% water changes for first week
20% water changes every other day for second week
20% water changes weekly from third week onwards
Ferts daily (Tropica Premium: dosed starting from second week)
Lowest Light setting for 6 hours for first 3 weeks, to increase to 8 hours after 3 weeks
I took the picture at an angle so it looks like the water level is uneven, but it is even.
