so i finally decided to get 2 [Chinese] fire belly newts! i had an extra 10 gal and i wanted to get some newts!

their names are Newton and Hubert.

Hubert looks a little thin from the first photo; but he'll fatten up nicely in time

How have they been eating so far? (people say when you first get them they can go off their food). I have 3 - one ate straight away (tiny amounts, another refused to eat for 2 weeks, until I gave him brine shrimp, the third, came on a feeding day and was first in the food bowl ).

What have you been feeding them?

Do they have any hiding spots that will contact 4 sides of their body (top, bottom, left and right) at once?

i have been feeding them blood worms and will be getting some different frozen foods for them. they do have 'tight' hiding spaces. Newton just prefers the filter.
