New Male Betta

I got the Tetra 10 gallon tank kit about a month ago and have been cycling it since.
Today I got a new male betta and put him in there with 5 apple snails
There is a Whisper 10i internal filter, a 50 watt heater( 83 degrees Fahrenheit), 2 fluorescent bulbs, 1 bunch of hornwort, river rocks as a substrate and decor
He is about 4.5 cm in length with a pink body, pink tail and blue and green on the edges and middle of his tail


( I gave away all my other tanks and fish to my friends and wanted to start over so I got this tank for now)

isn't that a tad too warm? 28 degrees is brilliant for the cycle as it speeds it up but with inhabitants errrr.

well that's my opinions anyway.

You cant really see his true colors because he moves to much but when he stops moving i will get a better picture

Also if you guys have any names for him, then i would happily take all suggestions.

Sorry the photos arent clear but there is blue,green,purple and orange on his tail, but his body is all pink and he has really black eyes(probably not clear in the photos)
He also loves giding behin or under the rockwork and the snails and plants, but mostly the plants.
All names are welcome and the names that i like will be put to a vote on the forum(once i figure out how to)
