ive just notices my 1st fry in my tank dont really want it to be eaten but im not sure on what to do..

What type of fish is it and what are the other fish in the tank? The sure why to prevent it from getting eaten is to remove it so another tank, using the water that is in the main tank to fill the fry rearing tank.

If its just one you could use a breeding net for it? until it gets bigger then just release it in the tank.

lyretail swords got some neon tetra baby loach and pleco
is there any diy ways of keeping it i aint got the money at the moment and wont have it till tuesday...

i went and bought a breading net got the money lent to me ive got one in there but i also got new plants i didnt think to try get the fry out before putting plants in =/ but still learn by my mistakes.
anyone know a way to lure them out?

If the fry are hiding well in the plants, they should survive there. If the hiding places are poor, you can just scoop through the plants as if they were not there and catch the fry. The plant leaves will move aside faster than the fry swim so you will end up with the fry in your net.
