Fantastic :) I love browsing your galleries, I still cant believe you have an account here :D

its moments like this I wonder why we dont have a worship emote....

Thanks for the links Heiko - thats a few hours of reading for me over the next few days :D

It is rather special to know such a talented and respected man within the world of aquatics has his name attatched to this forum even just by having an account.

Before I click on the link, can someone just take a look for me and tell me its not full of gorgous fish I cant have

No its not a link like that Lesley :) But its full of cracking information on fishy things in the Amazon and natural habitats :D So its my equivalent i guess...

I must echo my esteem for such a person like yourslef to join our humble forum.

excellent reading , looks like im gong to be spending my sunday morning lost in the amazon!!

also very interesting reading is heiko's wickipedia bio

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heiko_Bleher

take a read of that and you will see just how much of an impact he has had on the aquarium hobby .

Is it a red herring, or is Steatocranus bleheri named after Heiko?

According to that link, Mark, he died aged 76 on October 22, 1994 (aged 76) Chennai,India. However if he were born in 1954, and died 1994, he'd have been 40 when he died. Also, he does not seem to be dead if posting on this forum

I am not sure how accurate the rest of the article will be though, if it has got these major facts wrong.
