I currently own a ten gallon community tank
I will get a 25 gallon tank for cichlids. So far i think i want Kribensis, Sun catfish,Electric yellow cichlids, and blue johanni cichlids. Will this work? How many of each species? Is the size ok?

IMO i would just get the kribensis as a pair and some fish to swim up top.

All of those will grow too large for a 25 gallon. The johanni and electric yellow will need at least a 4ft tank, I believe the sun cats get atleast 12", so an even larger tank for then. You might be able to get a breeding pair of kribs to work, but I'm not sure they'll allow anything else in the tank once the start breeding.

Yes this is true but you could do Breeding pair of rams with some top swimming fish like Zebra Danios
