Mate brought over a male BN today, once he settled into my tank he decided to dig himself a new cave under a corner piece of sandstone. The problem I have is that every time he goes in and out it is such a tight squeeze for him. Should I just leave him to it or introduce a new cave hoping he will take it?? Also the female I have in there is only about 2 inches, half his size. Will she breed or is she still too young? Cheers.

Leave him to it, he shouldn't get hurt, just keep a close eye on him, you could introduce a nice slate cave and see if he'll use it.

Do you have wood in there for them?

The female may be a bit young yet.
