yes have definitely experienced the "help"
my DT girl decided to get a little too close to the hose while i was doing a water change....turned around for the whole of half a second to check the level of water in the bucket...and well you can guess what happened in that half second.....lost a few scales and a little cut on top of her head...put her straight back in her tank, thought she wasnt going to make it, she was floating around on the bottom for 5 or 10 mins on her side but she pulled through....
felt so guilty after
changed my tactics after that, have made a cage type thing on the end of the hose so they cant get within 2 inches of it.
I suppose some of the appeal would be lost but i dont think that would include me
