nerite being a weirdo (issue?)

so after i cleaned my filter, my guppies and cories kept on bugging the nerite
since then
he has randomly laid face up but is fine after a few mins, what is the cause?
is it that he likes to explore the top?
he sometimes goes out on the tank lid for no reason...

Get rid of the nasties in a tank water
