Neon Tetras - Lost Their Red Colouring

hhhmmmm really weird, my neon tetras were full of colour yesturday looked fine!

But Ive just put on tank lights and the neons have lost their red colour completely! they are now just a greyish/white with the blue neon stripes intact but the red colouring has disappeared completely!

anyone know why this is? what could have caused this?

Normal for them to look pale when you turn the tank lights on.

If there colour dosn't return soon, check water quality, but it normal for them to look pale probably was a sleep, when they sleep they are pale.

opps bit of over reacting i think! Sorry will watch to see if it comes back **phew**

**note to self don inspect fish when lights just gone on**
