So I came home tonight to see one of my neon tetras floating strange. It was asleep but they normally are tucked into the plants. On close inspection is saw that he was missing an eye! All that was left was a bloody socket :( Tank mates are:
Severum
Geophagus
Rams
White cloud minnows
guppies
Siames algae eater

which of these fish could have done this to him??

Are you sure it's a Siamese algae eater and not a Chinese algae eater?   A lot of lfs's sell Chinese as Siamese.

Poor thing.
I would add some Melafix to the tank but only half dose as not all fish tolerate to well.

I would remove your neons and wcmm because the severum will eat them. Depending on the size of severum it would also most likely go after the guppies too.

Im sure its a Siamese, as I've owned a Chinese one in the past. I put him in my invertebrate tank he is recovering well snacking on shrimp, worms and baby snails  (I breed live food in this tank). He's hunting one-eyed so I think hes ok will put him back in the tank soon. I'm hoping the severum will leave them alone, as he ignores even some guppy fry sometimes.

Bless Him.
Thanks for the update.
