I have recently noticed a patch of white fluff on the eggs of one of my blue cherry shrimp. I am 90% sure it's a fungus and am wondering what to do. I am also in a bit of a rush because I'll be on holiday for the next 5 days away from home. The treatment, I believe, is methylene blue or JBL fungol or malachite green however I don't own any and am leaving tomorrow morning. One option is killing the shrimp (shrimp population is about 30) another is to leave it until I come back then treat it or I could try to quarantine the shrimp then treat it when I come back (although I would need to make a makeshift quarantine tank). Any responses helping me decide what to do would be brilliant.
