Nannacara Anomala And Pearl Gourami

so i believe the title and poll speak for themselves but my stats

ammonia: 0
nitrate: 0.4
nitrite: 0.2

ph: 6.1
dh: 7

20 gallon cycled tank.

i would really like some help figuring something out!

Your tank is not cylced, the nitrite is 0.2
20 gallons is definitely way too small for Pearl Gourami. Dwarf Gouramis can be really aggressive and territorial (not a good mix with a dwarf cichlid). African Clawed Frogs should not really mix with fish TBH especially mildly aggressive fish like Dwarf Cichlids. Adding a pair of Rams will crowd up the tank and in a 20 gallon tank, you simply don't have room for 2 pairs of territorial bottom dwelling cichlids. The only suitable choice may be a trio of Honey Gouramis as they are small and peaceful

Apparently, the 'dwarf acara' (Zebra Acara) are too big for your tank. Then I read th poll title and its seems like you already have a Pearl Gourami. (incase you don't know, its never a good idea to mix different species of Gourami together) Could you be a little bit more clear on your current stocking and/or what fish you plan to add?

i guess i have the species wrong then? because the fish that i got only grow to be 2.5 inches and the owner of my lfs gave me the number of they guy who bred them and said that they would be perfectly fine in my tank? and my tank has been cycling for two weeks now, almost three so i dont get why the readings are like that?

my current stock:
four fully grown nannacara (2.5")
and possibly a pearl.
i should have asked if it was a good idea to add her so i apologize for not making any sense.
