Naming Your Fish

I just realized I haven't really named my fish. I have a few named: Pixel, Joel, Sandeep. That's all. How about you?

Some of them, most of them I can tell apart by size/behaviour and I don't feel the need to name them.

I dont name all my fish but I do the most recogniseable ones.I have a chat to them as well,they seem to respond to my voice.

Goldfish is bob
BN Plec is stubble
and WCMM are colectivly The Boys

ive always wanted to name one the cod father but it would only really work on a cod

I agree. I've only named my betta. His name is Draco.

i name ALL of my fish. it makes communicating w/ my girlfriend easier. instead of saying (purely an example) one of the albino cories seams to be acting weird and has a red mark on its side can you have a look? it would be easier to say that pierre (he looks french) is acting funny and has a red mark on his side can you have a look? since i can tell the difference of each of these cories (they all are slightly different) i will look at pierre instead of having to check out all of them and wasteing what might be valuble time. now if i notice it on another i will further investigate the problem.

I only name my most interesting fish, e.g.

Large fire eel = hudini (he used to escape all the time)
Largest fish that I have (pleco) = Moby (as in Moby dick)
tiger oscar= greedy bast***
